After School Dodgeball

After School Sports (Dodgeball) Program (Starts Monday 2/2/26)! 

WE ARE BACK!!! Dodgeball has been a fan favorite year after year! We will play a variety of dodgeball games including medic, prisoner, elimination, mayhem, partner dodge, and poison ball. All games are played with soft foam balls provided by the Park & Rec Department.

The programs meet immediately after school at the Jackson School Gym for Kindergarten through 2nd grade and Wood School Gym for 3rd through 6th grade. All children participating must be registered through the Park Department. Do not call or send money to the school!! Please note that the after-school programs do not meet on days when school is not in session or on early release days for in-service, conferences, or inclement weather. The Park Department provides all the equipment.

  • Kindergarten: Tuesdays - 3PM to 4:30PM, February 3rd to March 3rd. No Program Feb. 17th (February Break).  Jackson Gym (4 weeks) $50.
  • 1st and 2nd Grade: Thursdays - FULL
  • 3rd and 4th Grade:  Wednesdays, 3PM to 4:30PM, February 4th to March 4th. No Program Feb. 18th (February Break) . At Wood School Gym (4 weeks). $50. 
  • 5th and 6th Grade: Mondays, 3PM to 4:30PM, February 2nd to March 2nd. No Program Feb. 16th (February Break) At Wood School Gym (4 weeks). $50. 

Please note: No make-ups or refunds.

Registration / Payments

Registration runs from January 3rd to January 29th. Space is limited, and all programs are first come, first serve! Capacity limit of max # of 30 children per age group. Registrations will go in order in which we receive them for the attendance rosters.  Scholarships are available upon request!

If you or your child after registering have decided not to participate PLEASE let us know prior to the first day. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER THE PROGRAM STARTS. Once the program has started and you have not paid you will still be liable for the amount due.

Payments of $50 per child should be received by the first day of their program! Payment can be made online, at the Park Department office, dropped in the lock box outside the Rec Office or can be mailed to: Plainville Park Department, 142 South Street Plainville, MA 02762.
