Birth certificates are available for any child whose parents resided in the town of Plainville at the time of birth, whether the birth was in Plainville or another city/town within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Any person conducting a business individually or as a partnership, in the Commonwealth under any title or name other than his real name, must file a business certificate (doing business as) with the town clerk of each city or town in which the business has an office.
Death certificates are available for any death that occurred within the Town of Plainville, or if the deceased was a resident of the Town of Plainville at the time of death.
All dogs six months old or older must be licensed each year no later than the first Saturday in April.
Any couple that filed their "intention to be married" in the Town of Plainville may obtain a certified marriage certificate.
If you plan to be married in Massachusetts, both parties must appear together at the Town Clerk's office to complete the Marriage Intention.
Only non-profit organizations in existence for two years or more are eligible to obtain a raffle permit.
