2025 motor vehicle excise tax bills were mailed on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, for all vehicles registered in the Town of Plainville as of January 1, 2025. Payments are due on Monday, March 31, 2025.
Four Ways to Pay
By mail at our new lockbox - the address is clearly stated on the bill.
Online: Use the QR code on the bill for a direct link to our bill payment system or go to www.plainville.ma.us and click on ONLINE BILL PAY
In Person: Cash, check or money order at Town Hall
Drop Box: Secure mailbox attached to the Town Hall at the Main Entrance
Please be sure to enclose the remittance coupon(s) with your check and reference your bill number on your check to ensure proper credit.
Please note: One check can be made for multiple tax bills.
For abatements on vehicles no longer registered after January 1, please contact the Assessor's Office at 508-576-8430 or visit their website. Abatements filed after the due date or March 31, 2025, will need to be paid in full before the abatement can be processed and may include penalties and interest.
