Healthy KP Coalition
Healthy KP Substance Use Prevention Coalition is a community-based group of volunteers from various sectors of the Plainville, Norfolk and Wrentham communities. The coalition members include school personnel, parents, students, law enforcement, businesses, civic and volunteer groups, religious and fraternal organizations and health care professionals working together to prevent and reduce the use of alcohol, drugs and tobacco products among our youth.
MindWise - Free On-Line Mental Health Screening
The screening takes 3-5 minutes, is easily used by all ages, including teens/tweens and can be used by parents of younger children who have concern. The screening provides immediate feedback with on-line, national, regional and local resource options. The resource options were specifically developed for our town and cover the on-line, via telephone and in person options.
Take as many screenings you want. Focus areas include screenings for: Adolescent Depression, Alcohol, Alcohol Use, Bipolar, Depression, Disordered Eating, Gambling, Generalized Anxiety, Generalized Well-Being, Opioid Misuse, Post-Traumatic Stress, Psychosis, Substance Abuse, Wide Range Screening.
Articles and blogs, fact sheets, videos and webinars are available for topics like managing stress, caring cultures in the workplace, grief, how to ask for help with depression, and eating disorders. Please review the MindWise Digital Resource Library to access these tools.

Safe Coalition
Education, Support & Outreach. SAFE is a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of the community. SAFE Coalition is a Franklin-based nonprofit helping to educate and support those impacted by substance use disorder and mental health concerns. We work with neighbors, local businesses, and schools across southeastern Massachusetts to conceive, develop, and deliver our programming. Our approach is both responsive and preventative. By creating opportunities for group-building, peer-to-peer engagement, and education, we reduce the risk of mental illness and substance use within our community. Staffed by trusted and trained professionals and volunteers, SAFE’s support groups, mediation, counseling services, and peer programs build networks of care and foster whole-person healing.

Detox Local provides its users with an extensive, country-wide database of all medical drug & alcohol detoxification facilities. Additionally, Detox Local has a sponsored hotline that provides free, 24/7 detox assistance from a paid provider.
