The Building Department's mission is to provide public safety through the administration and enforcement of the State Building, Electrical, Plumbing, and Gas codes and the enforcement of the Zoning By-Laws of the Town of Plainville. The Building Department’s long-standing goal is to be fair, consistent, and reliable in its interpretation and enforcement of all codes and by-laws under its jurisdiction.
