The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will begin nighttime construction along the I-495 corridor starting December 14, 2025, through February 2026. Work is scheduled Sunday through Thursday, from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM, and will involve temporary lane closures.
Police detail officers will be on site to manage traffic and ensure safety during the operation. All ramps will remain open, and lane closures will follow MassDOT guidelines.
Motorists are advised to expect minor delays and to drive cautiously through the work zone.
