Is Your Dog the Top Dog in Plainville? License Today for a Chance to Win!

The 2026 Dog License Application was sent to all households in January along with the Annual Street Listing.  

All dogs six months old or older must be licensed no later than the last business day in February.  If you license your dog by January 31st, your dog will automatically be entered for a chance to win Plainville's Top Dog.  The Top Dog will receive the #1 dog tag plus a great prize pack.

Please license your dog(s) no later than February 26, 2026 to avoid a late fee.  Proof of current rabies vaccination must be provided, along with proof of neuter/spay, if applicable.

The fees are as follows:   2026 Top Dog Social Media Post

          Spayed/Neutered: $10.00

          Male/Female Intact: $30.00   

          Late Fee after February 26, 2026: add $50.00

Residents 70 or older at the time of licensing qualify for a free dog license. 

Payments can be made in person at the Town Clerk’s office, by mail to PO Box 1717, or online at City Hall Systems - eBilling ePayment
