The Plainville Planning Board held its meeting on Monday, June 23, 2008, at the Town Hall.
Motion to open meeting at 7:12 by Stan Widak, seconded by Mike Czarnowski, approved 5-0-0.
Tisbert's Way-Form A

Steve Follansbee, Attorney for the owner
Bob Davis excused himself from the discussion as he is an abutter. The owner, Douglas Johnson, wants to divide the land into additional lots. Mr. Johnson wants to build 3 homes and a horse farm on the lots. Kay Doyle suggested modifications to the proposal. Mr. Widak would like to see modifications made to the conditions regarding the roadway and the maintenance of the road. The applicant will withdraw the request without prejudice and will resubmit.
Motion to accept ANR by Mike Czarnowski, seconded by Ken McKeown, failed 2-2.
Motion to waive fee by Stan Widak, seconded by Ken McKeown, approved 4-0-0.
School Street - Form A

Owner proposed extension of current lot size.
Motion to approve expansion of existing lot by Stan Widak, seconded by Mike Czarnowski, approved 5-0-0.
49 Washington Street- Withdrawal of Application

Mr. Simmons has not been able to contact the applicant for many months. They have not responded to his many requests.
Motion to accept withdrawal without prejudice by Stan Widak, seconded by Ken McKeown, approved 5-0-0.
Mr. Simmons requested a letter formalizing the vote and the withdrawal of the application.
86 Washington Street-Continue Public Hearing

Motion to open continued public hearing at 9:02 by Stan Widak, seconded by Mike Czarnowski, approved 5-0-0.
Mike Mullaly of Earth Tech reviewed his report. Mr. Beissel reviewed the reported accidents by State Police and Local police. Mr. Faist reviewed the parking requirements for the accessory building. Mr. Faist asked if the design of the retaining wall should be reviewed by the Planning Board. The Board agreed they would like to see the designs.
Mr. Andre has already reviewed the plans with the Fire Department and they requested an alarm on the warehouse building. The new lighting will only be on the building.
Motion to continue public hearing until July 14, 2008 at 7:00pm, by Stan Widak, seconded by Bob Davis, approved 5-0-0.
142 East Bacon Street-Request an Extension for One year

Motion to grant an extension for one year due to the economy by Stan Widak, seconded by Bob Davis, approved 5-0-0.
Wetherell Estates

Motion to open Continuance of Public Hearing for Wetherell Estates at 8:10 pm by Stan Widak, seconded by Mike Czarnowski, approved 5-0-0.
The letter from Earth Tech addressed concerns for the project. The items were reviewed and all points were discussed.
Julie Stermasi, an abutter, 23 Wetherell Place, submitted a letter to the Board regarding some concerns of the residents. Chairman Throckmorton, read the letter to the Board and the audience.
Motion to grant a continuance until August 25, 2008 at 8:00 by Stan Widak, seconded by Mike Czarnowski, approved 5-0-0. An extension will be submitted by Dan Campbell.
31 Taunton Street Notice of Intent - Randolph Paint Ball
Martin and Luanne Jacobs, owners of Randolph Paintball, want to set-up a paintball field with no permanent structures. They will go to the Conservation Committee for approval. They will be leasing the property from Mike Cacciapaglia.

Motion to grant an extension for one year by Mike Czarnowski, seconded by Bob Davis, approved 4-0-0. Stan Widak did not vote since he is an abutter.

The slope reconstruction is complete and the fence has been replaced.
2 Wilkins Drive-White Hen Pantry/Bubble King

Paving was performed in the rain and there are some areas experiencing problems with water. Earth Tech needs the Planning Board to issue a letter requesting additional engineering funds.
25 Taunton Street

There are various problems with the paving. The developer is aware of the problems and working toward solutions.
Bills were signed.
Motion to approve minutes from May 12, 2008 with minor corrections by Bob Davis, seconded Mike Czarnowski, approved 5-0-0.
Motion to cancel meeting on scheduled for July 28, 2008 by Bob Davis, seconded by Mike Czarnowski, approved 5-0-0.
Motion to close meeting at 10:05 by Stan Widak, seconded by Ken McKeown, approved 5-0-0.
The next meeting of the Planning Board will be July 14, 2008 at Town Hall.
